1967 Ambrose Ray Baker

Ambrose “Ray” Baker
Box Player  -  1967

started his career in the field game in 1924, and moved indoors with the V.A.C. Club in 1931.

He played eight years with the North Shore Indians, and the New Westminster, British Columbia, Salmonbellies, scoring over 300 goals.

A great stickhandler, he was one of the true Native super-stars of his time.

Ray averaged about two goals and an assist a game for his entire eight-year career - certainly a great record.
