Barry’s defensive skills contributed greatly to the success of Brampton Lacrosse across the span of his lacrosse career. Over the course of his distinguished career Barry helped his teams achieve Championship wins including the 1980 Mann Cup. Prior to that he was part of Brampton Excelsiors winning the President’s Cup in 1972 and Eastern Canadian Championships in 1975, 76, 77, and 1981. At the semi-Pro and Professional levels respectively, Barry earned spots with Peterborough Lakers in 1969 and in 1974 with the Philadelphia Wings before joining the Brampton Excelsiors from 1975 – 1981 with Mann Cup play in 5 of those years including a Mann Cup Championship in 1981.
