1974 Don Ashbee

started his career in Ontario and after seven years moved out to British Columbia.

He played a total of seventeen years of senior lacrosse and they were filled with controversy. 

A colourful character, he played on five National Championship teams and scored a total of 815 goals and '80 assists.

A memorable evening for Don was when he scored all twelve of his team's goals as they lost ''-1' in a junior game.

He was also a good pro hockey player in the American Hockey League.
