Kelly DeGray was an outstanding player at both field and box lacrosse. 

He played for the Toronto, Ontario, Juniors when they won the Canadian title for three years and then moved up to the Oshawa team for 19'9 to help win the Mann Cup for the first time in nineteen years. 

Two years later he joined the Montreal Canadians pro team and was a strong factor in their winning the championship the first year.
