1980 Mario Crema

Mario Crema
Box player  -  1980

Mario Crema was one of the tough defensive type players that every team needs, but the opposition loathes.

He began his career with Richmond, British Columbia, in 1947 at the age of eighteen.

After four years he transferred to the P.N.E. Indians where he toiled for the next six, winding up his playing days leading the famed New Westminster Salmonbellies to the Mann Cup in 1958 and 1959.

Despite being known for his bruising checks he still managed to gather 377 goals and assist on 113 in 353 games.
