Merv McKenzie is one of those valuable men whose counsel and advice are needed by any amateur sport, from time to time. Merv first starred as a lacrosse player with the Orillia Juniors, then moved to senior company first with Mimico, then with the great Hamilton teams. He was an outstanding defenceman. Since retiring as a player, Merv has been a great force in the progress of lacrosse at all levels in the east, and still attends every possible lacrosse series from Mann Cup down to the Pee Wees.
