The Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame, pursuant to our Published Rules and Regulations for Election to the Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame, have removed Rick Mang from Membership.
The CLHOF opened an investigation into the individual’s actions to determine if their status as an honoured member of the Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame should be revoked.
Our policy was instituted two years ago and was designed to be fair and impartial. We reviewed the materials released publicly October 11, as well as other materials, resulting in the Board of Directors unanimously removing said member in a special meeting held on October 16, 2024.We are very appreciative of the courage and conviction of people who are attacked, and the strength and bravery it takes to hold those responsible for criminal behaviour accountable.
