Steve Govett’s playing career included the Burnaby Cablevision Jr. A (1984 – 1988), Coquitlam Adanacs Sr. A, (1989-91), Radford University (1990 – 1993), and the Philadelphia Wings (1994 – 1998), and Team Canada (1994, 1998). He became the Philadelphia Wings General Manager in 1989 and then took the roles of Executive Vice President and General Manager of Washington Power (1999 – 2002). From 2002 – 2017 Steve was Colorado Mammoth President and General Manager and subsequently became the President of the NLL’s 11th Franchise, the San Diego Seals. He has also served as Chairman of the National lacrosse League Board of Governors, and been Member of NLL committees including Executive Committee, Competition Committee, Expansion Committee, Labor Relations Committee, and Hall of Fame Committee.
